The Tale of the Most Expensive Holster in the World

In 2023, I purchased a Sig P365 X-Macro, and made the mistake of purchasing a holster that the brand I preferred at the time claimed would fit. It did not, at all. Frustrated, and tired of spending limited funds on holsters that I ended up not liking, I vowed to never have this problem again and began making my own holsters. By the time I got it right, I realized how much I had spent to learn how to make that single holster, I had invested enough into the processes, equipment, tools and materials that the only way to justify such a choice was to begin doing this as a service for others. A lot of prayer and support from friends in the security industry confirmed that this was the right path.

What makes Steel Guardian Defense holsters different?

Our holsters are made to be a custom fit, with your preferences in mind. Even our production models are still hand-fitted and manually cut to shape. Many other kydex holster brands are content to quickly turn out a holster that "mostly fits" either simply cutting the kydex to shape, or injection-molding material to produce the exact same thing every single time. Certainly this model works as a business, but the product has no soul.
